How drugs works.
drugs is a drug price-tracking market exchange being built for Robinhood Chain. Markets pair with coins designed to track real drug-price references. A launched token is quoted in its drug reference coin, and the holder reward model pays trading fees in that same coin.
You can launch a simulated market, review its first purchase, and trade against its curve using demo funds. Live drug-price tracking, wallets, rewards, burns, and liquidity migration are not connected. A local Robinhood testnet contract prototype has been built and tested, but has not been deployed or connected to this site. Sections marked Planned describe the intended on-chain product.
Drug coins
Each coin in the drugs catalogue is intended to track a documented price reference for its drug. XAN is the Xanax reference coin; a market such as CHILL / XAN trades in XAN. The launched token has its own market price in XAN, while XAN targets the drug-price reference.
The drug reference price, the reference coin’s executable trading price, and the launched token’s price are separate values. The intended tracking mechanism keeps the reference coin close to its benchmark; trading in the launched token determines how many reference coins it is worth. Today’s displayed quotes are fixed demo inputs, not sourced drug prices.
For a demo basket, the reference unit uses the selected coins’ weighted quotes. It is a calculation inside the demo, not a minted basket asset.
How price tracking works Planned
Each drug reference coin is intended to trade against USDG around its published benchmark. An on-chain feed records the reference, funded liquidity supplies buy and sell quotes, and a keeper updates the feed and reprices the pools when the reference changes.
The benchmark identifies the drug, reference unit, region, currency, source, and reference date. Published street-price estimates remain fixed between documented revisions. The catalogue will distinguish the published reference from the coin’s executable trading price and show when the source was last reviewed.
The current numbers are demo placeholders. Benchmark sources, feed contracts, funded USDG pools, and their update service still need to be implemented. A price update alone does not supply the liquidity needed to trade at that price.
Launching a market
Open Launch, set the token’s identity, choose its pair, and review the purchase before creating it. The first purchase and market creation succeed together in the demo.
| Total supply | 1,000,000,000 tokens |
|---|---|
| Curve allocation | 800,000,000 tokens |
| Migration reserve | 200,000,000 tokens |
| Opening / completion cap | $5,000 / $35,000 equivalent, fixed in the reference unit at creation |
| Trading fee | 1%, 2%, or 3% · 2% default |
| First purchase | At least $1 in demo USD |
| Pair composition | 1–5 coins; each weight ≥5%; total 100% |
The review shows estimated tokens, the fee, your remaining balance, and the market cap after the first buy. Your first purchase receives tokens at the curve’s changing price, so the final cap will already be above the opening value.
The bonding curve
The demo uses a constant-product model with virtual reserves. Buys increase price; sells decrease it. Progress measures the net share of the curve allocation sold, so selling can reduce progress before completion.
A purchase that reaches the end uses only the remaining inventory. Its unused budget stays in your demo wallet, with no fee charged on that unused amount. Virtual reserves are pricing inputs, not extra tokens or deposited funds.
Reference quotes stay constant in this demo. A future change in a pair’s USD value would change the USD display; it would not reset the launch’s pair-denominated curve.
Trading
The demo wallet starts with $25,000, enough to explore a full launch. Buy amounts are USD budgets; sell amounts are token quantities. For curve trades, the app converts the budget into the market’s reference unit and includes both the fee and price impact in the quote.
Every completed trade updates your holdings, balance, market volume, and fee ledger. Newly launched markets also update curve price and progress. Preloaded example markets retain illustrative fixed quotes and chart histories.
Use Max to fill the available balance or holding. If a quote is invalid or funds are insufficient, the trade does not execute. Quotes are simulated immediately; there is no network transaction, gas charge, or swap route.
Migration Planned
The intended destination is Uniswap v4: reserved tokens and raised pair coins seed liquidity, retaining the selected fee. Basket launches would need a pool for each funded leg. Liquidity placement must preserve the final curve price while accounting for all raised assets.
The demo stops curve trading at 100% and marks the market Ready to migrate. It does not create a pool or issue an on-chain transaction. A preloaded “Migrated” example is illustrative.
Pool deployment, position ranges, liquidity restrictions, and retry behavior need to be implemented and verified in the drugs contracts before they can be described as live guarantees.
Trading fees
The selected rate applies to each executed trade. The allocation is:
Holders
Reward allocation
Buyback & burn
Planned $DRUGS allocation
Protocol
Exchange allocation
These shares divide the fee, not the purchase amount. There is no separate creator share for a new drugs launch.
$2 is the fee: $0.80 holders, $0.60 buyback, and $0.60 protocol. The remaining $98 enters the curve.
Holder rewards Planned
The holder allocation is designed to be balance-weighted and paid in the market’s drug reference coins. Holders of a CHILL / XAN market would receive XAN; holders of a market paired with WEED would receive WEED. Eligible balances, excluded addresses, payout thresholds, and distribution scheduling still need contract and service rules.
Today, the market detail screen shows the simulated allocation accumulated during your session. It is not a claimable balance, an executed payment, or an earnings projection.
$DRUGS Planned
$DRUGS is the working symbol for the proposed protocol token. The demo tracks a buyback allocation, but no $DRUGS token, swap, burn, or treasury transaction has been deployed by this app.
A verified contract address and the actual buyback rules will be published here before the app offers those features. There is no token sale or purchase link in this documentation.
Market details
A launch can include an image, description, website, X profile, and Telegram link. The review lets you check them before publication in your current session. The default image is the selected drug’s pixel art.
Accepted uploads are PNG, JPEG, and WebP up to 5 MB. Your image stays in the browser session; it is not uploaded to permanent storage. Token identity, links, and basket weights cannot be edited after the demo market is created.
The intended on-chain version will publish content-addressed metadata and record its URI at creation. That storage and contract integration is still pending.

Common questions
Can I launch or buy a real token here?
Not yet. Launch and trade actions use browser state and simulated funds. They do not mint a token, request a wallet signature, or move real assets.
Do my markets survive a refresh?
No. Navigating between Markets, Drugs, and Docs preserves the current session. Refreshing or opening a new tab starts again with the example markets and demo balance.
Can I change my basket after launching?
No. Review the coins, weights, identity, and links before confirming. You can launch a different market with a new ticker if you want to try another setup.
Why is the buy quote different from spot price?
A curve purchase crosses several price levels. The amount received reflects the whole order and the fee; spot price describes the price at one point on the curve.
Are the reference coins backed by physical drugs?
No. The product is designed to track drug prices through reference coins and trading liquidity. Price tracking does not confer ownership of, or redemption for, physical drugs. The current demo uses placeholder reference values.
